We stayed a couple days and enjoyed the patio area next to the lake the first evening. We enjoyed watching the hummingbirds at the feeder. The weather turned rainy the next day and windy the day after that so was unable to sit outside. The cottage is very comfortable with newer beds and furniture. A beautiful and well stocked kitchen. The only inconvenience was both bedrooms are upstairs and the bathroom is downstairs (probably wouldn’t be a problem for young people). The A/C is 2 mini-splits, one downstairs and one in the hallway upstairs, so we used fans in the bedrooms to be cool enough and you had to leave the door open. It is a cute updated cottage with comfortable furniture.
Great communication; very well equipped house, especially the kitchen; beautiful views of the lake and outdoor fire pit area. Love Moosehead !
It was a cozy cottage on the lake. The house was beautiful, fully equipped and the scenery was spectacular. Everything you needed to relax and enjoy time with family; there were 3 of us. Outdoor grilling, fire pit to make smores at night, night-time star gazing, steps away to swim, kayak and watch and listen to the loons.
