When first arriving at the house, we wondered if we were coming into an abandoned place. Vegetation was overgrown all around the house, weeds growing out between the flagstone walk to the front door, water hose laying uncoiled in the front flowerbed. The inside layout was good for our family of 6. Nice space to spread out when lounging after our days on the lake. The lighting in all the spaces was not great. Fairly dimly lit when playing games in the kitchen/dining area. Also, a number of the walls in the kitchen and dining areas had watermarks on them from water getting through the walls at some point in time. This was not a big deal, just pointing it out. Overall it was a good experience, but could be better with a few updates and some routine maintenance."
